The VR training app “DIALYSIS CAPD” helps healthcare professionals to prepare dialysis patients who will be treated with CAPD (Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis) for the correct handling of the Baxter PD solution bag system.

CONTENT

DIALYSIS CAPD is a complete course, which mediates in 7 chapters the process of:

  1. Preparing materials
  2. Positioning the hoses
  3. Connecting to the transfer set
  4. Draining the dialysate
  5. Pouring the dialysis solution
  6. Disconnecting the transfer set
  7. Documenting and preperating

Our friendly, intelligent Avatar guides the patient through the various chapters, each of which consists of 3 learning phases:

  1. Explanation (theoretical basics)
  2. Guided (avatar explains steps)
  3. Training (user trains on his own)

A summary of mistakes is presented at the end of each chapter.

This ensures, that the patients can improve their skills and the learned process stays in memory.
