CAPD VR helps you learn to perform dialysis riskfree

The Dialysis VR training will help patients to learn and train the complete process of the Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and by this can relieve medical personnel. 

Patients experience a home dialysis and its important steps. While practicing, users are allowed to make mistakes and are guided by videos and the WM tutor.

Safe Environment

In the virtual environment, patients will take no risk as they practice the dialysis process as often as they need. Patients won’t need to worry about the nurses or anyone else and therefore don’t need to fear being observed. Being able to train in this way helps patients immensly to be more confident in performing the steps for CAPD and making less mistakes, reducing the time a nurse would need to train them.

Didactic training concept

For the best learning experience, we always work on the didactic approch for our trainings. Patients willwork through the whole process of operating the machine with different chapters. Each chapter is itself divided into three steps where they get instructions, work through the chapter with help and lastly need to perform what they learned without any help. This approach helps the patients to be more confident in perfroming with the real process afterwards.
