First Aid VR training that is exciting – and saves lives

Training like it’s real. In virtual reality.

FirstAid VR training by Weltenmacher is not just about learning. This training is about taking action in the real world. Learning in the virtual world gives users confidence so they are ready for emergencies: VR connects learning, experience, and actual execution.

LIKE THE REAL THING

Confidence Through Practice

The VR training takes place in realistic emergency scenarios, step by step: from initial assessment to resuscitation. Users experience what is barely possible in a seminar room: time pressure, distraction, complexity. Mistakes are allowed here without risk – this is how experiential routine is built for real emergencies.

The VR training kit. So small, it always comes along.

One bag, one training cushion, one VR headset. Minimal luggage, maximum learning impact. Setup in just a few minutes — put on the headset and go.

  • Compact: For classrooms, schools, or mobile use.
  • Quick start: Pre-configured — training starts in seconds.
  • Self-guided: Participants can go through the training on their own — simple UI.

I was able to answer individual participants’ personal questions while other users were doing the VR training — the group was safely engaged. That’s exactly how a training kit should work.

Daniela, Instructor

Developed for professional daily use

Ready for an immediate start, thanks to self-explanatory user guidance: No manual needed, clear instructions in VR.

The result: Trainers can let their participants train independently — without additional external support on site.

I can also leave people on their own. Even when I’m not right there, users still manage just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Weltenmacher VR world does not replace legally required courses — it complements them didactically.

It can be integrated into existing course formats — as a practical module for deepening confidence in action.

Formal certification remains with the respective provider (e.g., according to DGUV requirements or internal company guidelines). The VR training integrates seamlessly into existing curricula.

Confidence in action arises through:

  • Situational decision-making

  • Actively performing measures

  • Immediate feedback

  • Repetition under realistic conditions

Our VR world simulates stress, sounds, and visual stimuli.

Mistakes become immediately visible — this accelerates learning transfer and self-efficacy.

Yes: Participants receive direct feedback during the training.

Performance data such as reaction time, sequence of measures, or accuracy become visible.

This creates transparency — for both participants and instructors.

The design uses mechanics from the gaming world (immersion, feedback, motivation) without trivializing the subject.

The goal is not entertainment, but activation.

Seriousness comes from realistic scenarios and a clear didactic structure.

No, the system is designed for plug-and-play:

Put on the headset, start the scenario. No technical knowledge is required. Trainers only need to switch on the headset, do a quick setup, and then guide the users.

The interface is intentionally kept low-threshold, so the focus stays on training, not on technology.

Yes. Both standard manikins and a simple cushion can be used: The integration of existing manikins or special simple training cushions for feedback and resistance is possible. Important: An additional sensor for measuring frequency and compression depth is required, which is available from us.

Weltenmacher products are not sold in an online shop — instead, your organization receives annual licenses for the VR Training World per VR headset.

Here’s how it works:

1. Consultation: Together, we clarify: number of users, deployment scenario, hardware situation, organizational structure. We’re happy to help with any questions about VR, technology, and integration into your training routine.

2. Choose a license model: Depending on your needs, we offer: site licenses, multi-year licenses, organization-wide license packages. The license includes: access to the VR training modules, updates, basic support.

3. Hardware — with or without?

If your organization already has VR headsets in use, we check compatibility during the initial consultation. It is usually possible to use existing VR hardware (e.g., common standalone headsets). Many organizations already have suitable devices — in this case, no additional hardware costs arise.

We also offer consultation for obtaining a complete package including pre-installed Training World. This way, your organization can start without any IT effort. The software works completely without internet access (internet is only needed for updates). Just get in touch. We’ll find the right solution with you.

4. Start & Implementation

After the contract is signed, your organization receives the VR Training World, the necessary documentation, and the required hardware. And you’re ready to go.

The implementation is handled in a structured way, whether it’s a single location or a nationwide organization.

1. Initial consultation & Demo

As a first step, we arrange a personal demo. There, you experience the Training World yourself. We clarify strategic questions about didactics, integration, and scaling.

2. Needs analysis

Together, we analyze: number of locations, existing hardware (often existing VR hardware can be reused), target groups (e.g., driving schools, companies, internal training), desired rollout speed.

3. Pilot phase (optional)

Many organizations start with a pilot location.

This allows you to: gather trainer feedback, evaluate participant reactions, and secure internal decision-making processes.

4. Licensing & Rollout

After a successful pilot, the license package is tailored to the organization. The rollout is accompanied — including onboarding for instructors.

Our goal: a smooth transition without disrupting the existing training structure.

Unsere Training Worlden laufen auf gängigen Standalone-VR-Brillen.

You can obtain the hardware as a ready-to-use package from us — or source it yourself.

The difference:

  • Weltenmacher Hardware Bundle: ready to use immediately + with support
  • Own hardware: compatible, but without setup & support
